SeEat restaurant guide

la Barbecue menu

Meat by weight or a sandwich with its own toppings? Start with that choice. The la Barbecue menu has both, and its specialty names can hide an important difference: a choice of one meat versus a combination of several.

Three sandwiches with different combinations

Compare fillings and toppings, not a ranking of favorites.

Sliced brisket with pickles and onions

Sliced Brisket Sandwich

Start here when you want sliced brisket with these toppings. Compare it with Chopped Brisket Sandwich, which lists Bobby sauce: choosing sliced versus chopped also changes the accompanying ingredients, not just the cut size.

El Sancho — AI reference images · not photographs of the restaurant’s actual dishes

Sausage plus a choice of pulled pork or chopped brisket

El Sancho

Choose this if you want sausage alongside one other meat. Decide between the two options before ordering. El Sancho Loco lists both pulled pork and chopped brisket with sausage, so the names do not describe the same filling.

La Frito Loco — AI reference images · not photographs of the restaurant’s actual dishes

Two meats, slaw, beans, chips, cheese and jalapenos

La Frito Loco

Read this as a whole combination rather than a basic brisket sandwich. If the listed toppings are what you want, it offers a different order from El Sancho. Check those toppings before automatically adding slaw or beans alongside it.

Choose the format, then the combination

Meat, bread and extra sides do not have to be separate automatic orders.

  1. 01

Decide between meat by weight and a sandwich

The meat section uses weight-based orders, while sandwiches come on a potato bun. Pick the format that matches how you want to eat, then confirm the order quantity with the restaurant. This guide does not prescribe a fixed amount per person.

  2. 02

    Read “or” and “and” carefully

La Chopped offers pulled pork or chopped brisket; El Sancho adds sausage to a meat choice; El Sancho Loco combines all three. Choose whether you want one meat, a choice alongside sausage, or the full mixture.

  3. 03

    Compare toppings before adding sides

La Chopped already lists chipotle slaw, and La Frito Loco lists slaw and black beans among other toppings. Decide whether you want those ingredients again as a side, or another accompaniment, instead of treating every side as missing from the sandwich.
