SeEat restaurant guide
Lazy Bear menu: read a spring tasting sample
This is a dated tasting-menu sample, not a list of dishes to order separately. Read the ingredients to understand how eggs, seafood and chicken appear across the sequence; the restaurant says its seasonal menu changes frequently.
May 13, 2026 sample; three courses only. Wider butter/bread and avocado jam/mayonnaise conflicts, plus unverified trout method, remain in the destination. Saved EN/ZH/ES. Confirm current menu and dietary needs.
Read the course beyond its main ingredient
Eggs include bacon and maple; oyster includes buttermilk; chicken includes peas and carrots.
Eggs with bacon, maple and hot sauce
Whipped scrambled eggs
WHIPPED SCRAMBLED EGGS pairs eggs with bacon, maple and hot sauce in the dated sample. This is an egg-and-bacon course, not a meat-free choice inferred from its title. No heat level or exact technique is promised.
Oyster with asparagus and buttermilk
Hog Island Sweetwater oyster
HOG ISLAND SWEETWATER OYSTER names white asparagus, buttermilk and wild foraged greens. Notice the dairy component alongside the oyster. The ingredient list does not establish a particular cooking method or allergy-safe preparation.
Chicken with peas and carrots
Fogline chicken
FOGLINE CHICKEN lists English peas and Nantes carrots. It gives a poultry-and-vegetable combination without specifying the chicken’s cut or cooking technique. Read it as one course in the sample, not a complete standalone plate.
Use the sample to prepare questions
For a tasting sequence, clarify the menu and dietary needs rather than assemble an à la carte order.
01
Check which menu is being served
The sample has a specific May date; the owned dinner page says the menu changes frequently. Ask about the actual sequence before planning around these courses.
02
Look beyond vegetable titles
The saved sequence lists bone marrow in leek panna cotta and Wagyu bacon with avocado. A plant-named course does not by itself establish a vegetarian option.
03
Discuss requirements across the sequence
Eggs, oyster, buttermilk and chicken appear in these examples. Explain dietary needs directly and ask about substitutions; this guide does not promise any accommodation.
Before opening the saved sample
Can I order these three separately?
This guide does not establish that. The source presents a tasting-menu sample; ask about the current format.
Why are butter, avocado and trout not compared?
The saved butter description moves brown butter from the bread to the butter; Chinese egg-yolk jam becomes mayonnaise with avocado, and trout adds an unverified pan-searing method. These are excluded from the comparison.
Is this today’s menu?
No current-menu promise is made. The sample is May 13, 2026, captured in September; seasonal dishes change.
