SeEat restaurant guide
Willa Jean menu: biscuit, waffle or bowl?
The same fried-chicken direction can arrive on a biscuit, in a sesame-roll sandwich or with a sweet potato waffle. Choose the format and accompaniments first. For a grits-based plate, compare Hangover Bowl with Shrimp Creole.

Three formats to compare
Start with the base and accompaniments you want. These are preference comparisons, not ranked favorites.
The biscuit direction with a spicy-sweet accent
Fried Chicken & Tabasco Honey
This sits in the Biscuit Situation section. Compare its honey direction with Granny’s Sausage Gravy or Bacon, Egg & Pimento Cheese. Do not assume the biscuit comes with the fries or chips listed alongside other dishes.
Chicken with a distinctly sweet accompaniment
Chicken & Waffles
The active menu names a sweet potato waffle, rum sauce, toasted marshmallow and spiced pecan. That combination is a different choice from the Tabasco-honey biscuit or chicken sandwich. Consider those accompaniments, not just the chicken.

A short-rib and grits direction
Hangover Bowl
The menu lists short rib debris with cheesy grits, potatoes, crispy onions and egg. Shrimp Creole instead takes the grits direction toward shrimp and tomato gravy. Choose the protein and sauce rather than infer a benefit from the Hangover name.

Choose the combination before adding extras
The menu already includes several accompaniments and also lists separate sides.
01
Compare the chicken formats
The Fried Chicken Sandwich lists lettuce, pickles and WJ sauce on a sesame roll, with potato chips. The biscuit and waffle versions use other accompaniments. A familiar protein does not make them the same order.
02
Read the included side
WJ Burger lists french fries; Fried Chicken Sandwich lists chips; the omelettes list fried potatoes. Check those inclusions before adding another potato side. Ask staff about portions if you plan to share.
03
Review optional additions separately
Veggie Omelette lists cheese and potatoes, with animal-protein additions offered separately. Avocado Toast offers an egg addition. Decide the base preparation first, then say whether you want the extra.
Before choosing Willa Jean
Is this the newest Willa Jean menu?
The guide uses a September 10 capture and sources checked September 30, 2026. The current menu has a different seasonal salad and Grain Bowl ingredients. Confirm today’s recipe; do not combine both versions.
Does Chicken & Waffles only mean chicken and waffle?
The active menu also lists rum sauce, toasted marshmallow and spiced pecan. Those accompaniments matter when comparing it with the biscuit or sandwich.
Can a vegetable dish name confirm my dietary needs?
No. Read the complete preparation and optional additions. Ingredient changes, modifications and cross-contact need direct restaurant confirmation; menu labels are questions to investigate, not safety guarantees.
