Cafe Spaghetti menu: choose beyond the pasta name

Tomato and basil, vodka sauce with stracciatella, or sausage and broccoli rabe? Choose the sauce and ingredients first. Then check the starters: Brussels sprouts include pepperoni, and the Caesar includes anchovies.

Three ingredient comparisons

Choose by sauce and accompaniments. These are menu-based comparisons, not ranked favorites or tasting notes.

Tomato and basil versus vodka sauce and stracciatella

Pomodoro or vodka rigatoni?

Pomodoro lists Parmigiano and basil. Rigatoni lists vodka sauce, stracciatella and basil. Both include cheese, but the sauces and pasta shapes differ. Choose the tomato direction you want; do not assume pomodoro is dairy-free.

Broccoli rabe versus ricotta

Sausage or Bolognese?

Orecchiette pairs sausage with broccoli rabe. Tagliatelle pairs Bolognese with ricotta. Choose between those ingredient combinations rather than only the pasta shape. Cavatelli’s creamy corn ragù also includes pancetta; corn does not make that preparation meat-free.

Arugula and lemon versus four cheeses

Two chicken directions

The saved Milanese is a breaded chicken cutlet with arugula and lemon. Chicken parmigiana lists four cheeses and basil. Choose whether you want the salad-and-lemon accompaniments or a cheese-focused dish. Neither description establishes portion size.

Choose your dinner direction

Start with sauce, then check the other ingredients.

  1. 01

    Check the less obvious ingredients

The sprouts list pepperoni and Pecorino; the Caesar lists white anchovies, sesame and Parmigiano. Ricotta crostini includes hazelnut and truffle honey. Read past a vegetable, salad or cheese name before choosing.

  2. 02

Decide whether clams belong in your pasta

Spaghetti alle vongole offers red or white sauce. The official listing does not specify every sauce ingredient. Ask what distinguishes the two; avoid treating either as a verified dairy-free preparation.

  3. 03

Use the right service and date

The saved dinner rigatoni is different from the lunch menu’s baked vodka rigatoni with mozzarella. Current dinner changes cantaloupe to figs and replaces linguine Francese with ricotta agnolotti. Ask which version is available.

Questions before ordering

Is this the current complete menu?

No. The linked SeEat menu is the September 10 capture. Official sources reviewed October 3 show dish changes. Confirm today’s availability and preparation with the restaurant.

Does this include lunch and brunch?

This guide uses the saved dinner list. Lunch sandwiches, baked rigatoni and brunch dishes are separate service choices; they are not combined into a guaranteed menu.

Can I choose gluten-free pasta?

The current official dinner page mentions gluten-free penne. The saved menu does not record that option as a variant. Ask the restaurant about availability, ingredients and cross-contact; this guide cannot certify safety.
