Eem menu: brisket in curry or fried rice?

White curry and BBQ fried rice both name brisket burnt ends, but the rest of the plate differs. Compare coconut cream and cauliflower with shishito and chili jam, then look at the pork, vegetable and starter options.

Three comparisons for your order

Look beyond the meat or curry color to the whole combination.

Coconut curry or rice with chili jam

Brisket, two ways

White curry pairs brisket burnt ends with roasted cauliflower, coconut cream and green onion. BBQ fried rice combines the named meat with shishito peppers, chili jam and fried shallot. Choose the curry-and-rice format or the fried-rice combination, rather than order from the brisket name alone.

Compare the pork format and sauce

Pork in green curry or krapao

Green curry lists crispy pulled pork, cauliflower, oyster mushrooms, lime leaf and coconut cream. Krapao names pork belly burnt ends, Thai chili, Thai basil, nam prik plaa and fried egg. The dishes differ in both pork format and accompaniments; confirm heat and egg preparation rather than infer them from the names.

Different vegetables and formats

Vegetable curry or mushroom fried rice

Red curry lists bok choy, cremini mushrooms, roasted cabbage, red bell pepper, coconut cream, fried shallot and sesame. Mushroom fried rice lists mushrooms, shishito, chili jam and fried shallot. Both carry the Dinner menu’s V marker, but adding the separately offered smoked sausage changes the curry’s composition.

Choose starters and the remaining curries

Read the seasonings, optional additions and service format before deciding.

  1. 01

Choose a starter by its dressing and additions

Field Greens Salad names tamarind, pickled shallot, coconut and apple; Beet Salad names lemongrass cream, mint, chili rice puff and orange. Papaya Salad explicitly names peanuts and dried shrimp, while Hot Fried Cauliflower names peanuts and fish sauce. A vegetable headline does not tell you whether a dish contains seafood.

  2. 02

Compare the remaining curries by meat and ingredients

Jungle curry names sliced brisket, napa cabbage, Thai basil, lime leaf, fish sauce and palm sugar. Massaman names smoked lamb shoulder, potatoes, onions, coconut cream and peanuts. The Dinner curry section says rice is served with these dishes; compare those ingredients rather than assume curry color predicts mildness.

  3. 03

    Keep weekly specials separate

The reviewed Dinner PDF lists Pork Steak and Smoked Baby Back Ribs under weekly specials. They are not regular menu promises in this guide. Lunch and takeout may differ too; confirm the current format before building an order around a special.

Questions before choosing from Eem

Which Eem brisket dish should I compare first?

Compare white curry’s coconut cream and cauliflower with BBQ fried rice’s shishito, chili jam and shallot. Both name brisket burnt ends, but their formats and accompaniments differ.

Does white curry mean mild curry?

No. Color is not a reliable heat guide. The officially linked takeout menu says curry ingredients and spice levels cannot be modified. Confirm the current Dinner heat rather than infer mildness from the color.

Are all vegetable dishes vegan?

No. The Dinner PDF lists fish sauce in Hot Fried Cauliflower and dried shrimp in Very Spicy Papaya Salad. Check the source labels and complete sauce ingredients; red curry’s optional smoked sausage is separate.

Does Eem have noodle dishes?

The restaurant’s official FAQ describes its focus as curries and rice dishes and says it does not offer noodles. These saved Dinner examples follow that structure; other service formats and offerings may change.
