Frank menu: start with the sauce, then choose your pasta

Rigatoni al Ragu, Penne Tomatoes & Basil and Uncle Tony’s handmade Gnocchi offer three useful starting points. Choose the meat sauce or tomato-basil direction first, then decide whether you want tubular pasta or gnocchi.

Compare three pasta directions

These choices follow the printed menu; they are not tasted favorites.

Tomato and meat sauce

Rigatoni al Ragu

Start here if a meat-sauce pasta is the direction you want. Compare it with the tomato-basil penne before adding meatballs to another dish; those choices may overlap more than their pasta names suggest.

Tomato-basil base, separate meatball add-on

Penne Tomatoes & Basil

This lets you distinguish the base pasta from the optional meatballs. The printed menu says tomato-based pastas come with Parmigiano on top, so do not infer a dairy-free dish from tomatoes and basil alone.

Gnocchi with tomato, basil and Parmigiano

Uncle Tony’s handmade Gnocchi

Compare this with penne if you want the same broad tomato-basil direction in a different pasta form. Stracciatella appears as a separate add-on, not a topping you must assume is already included.

Read the base and additions separately

Optional components matter as much as the dish title.

  1. 01

Decide whether meat is your anchor

Rigatoni already names meat ragù. Polpettone is an entrée with gravy and potato pancetta. If you choose a tomato pasta alongside it, decide deliberately whether another meat addition is what you want.

  2. 02

    Check the anchovy option

The printed garlic-and-oil spaghetti and roasted garlic bread have a separate salted-anchovy option. Ask which version you are ordering; do not assume every serving includes or excludes fish.

  3. 03

    Ask what today’s ravioli contains

Handmade Ravioli of the day is a changing named option. The saved description does not identify a fixed filling. Ask about the actual filling and sauce before comparing it with the known tomato pasta choices.

Questions about Frank’s dinner menu

Is this the current daily-specials list?

No. This guide previews the captured dinner menu and the images still linked from the dinner page. The official daily-specials page has its own dated list; availability needs confirmation.

Are the tomato pastas automatically vegan?

No. The printed menu says tomato-based pastas come with Parmigiano. Ask about ingredients and preparation rather than treating a tomato-based title as certification.

Are the menu file dates the capture date?

No. September 2024 appears in the linked image filenames; SeEat captured its menu in September 2026. The filenames do not establish the restaurant’s original publication date.
