Ghee Indian Kitchen menu: dosa, biryani or curry?

Start with the format: a short-rib or potato dosa, duck cooked with saffron basmati, or curry served with rice. Then compare the smaller ingredients—cashew, coconut, yogurt or cheese can change the direction you choose.

Three formats to compare

Use the actual dish names and accompaniments to narrow the order. These are ingredient-based comparisons, not ranked favorites.

Specify the filling

Short Rib or Potato Dosa

These are separate named dosa options: short rib is a meat direction, potato another filling direction. Lamb Hakka Noodles and Vegetable Hakka Noodles make a similar named distinction in a different format. Choose the filling and format explicitly, then ask about the full preparation; the short official entries do not establish every sauce or heat level.

A rice-based main with its own accompaniments

Duck Biryani

The menu names saffron basmati, mint, caramelized onions, cashews and raita. Compare this rice-based direction with a curry served with basmati before automatically adding another starch. Raita is a yogurt accompaniment; cashews are part of the named recipe. Confirm the actual quantity and preparation for your table.

Compare protein and sauce together

Beef Korma or a coconut curry

Beef Korma names roasted onion, cashew and cardamom. Tumeric Marinated Shrimp instead names coconut and fennel sofrito; Kerala Lamb names coconut, curry leaf and turmeric. Decide whether you want beef, shrimp or lamb and that ingredient direction, then ask about heat. Neither “korma” nor “coconut” guarantees a mild dish.

Check what you add to the main

Sauces and accompaniments make the order more specific than a protein name alone.

  1. 01

Distinguish chaat from the plain samosa option

Samosa Chaat lists chana masala, yogurt and chutneys. Potato Samosas separately lists cilantro and tamarind-date chutneys. Pani Puri names potatoes, moong beans and tamarind/cilantro water. These are different snack combinations, so choose the sauce-and-filling direction rather than assume every potato snack is interchangeable.

  2. 02

Use the curry heading to check rice inclusion

The matching regular menu explicitly says curries are served with basmati rice, while naan is listed separately. That does not establish rice or bread with every grill dish. Compare the bread additions deliberately: Ghost Pepper Cheddar Naan and Brie & Truffle Naan name cheese; the latter lists Mango Kashmiri Chutney. Confirm the selected offer’s inclusions.

  3. 03

Read dairy and dessert ingredients directly

Paneer is cheese: Charred Corn lists smoked paneer and cilantro crema, while Saag Paneer’s name should not be overlooked because a short description mentions only greens. For dessert, Warm Sticky Date Cake names jaggery toffee and ginger ice cream; Chai Ice Cream Sandwiches names Parle G cookies. Ask staff about complete ingredients and dietary requirements.

Before choosing from the Ghee menu

Which dosa options are in the saved menu?

Short Rib Dosa and Potato Dosa are separately named. Choose the filling explicitly and ask staff about sauces and preparation rather than infer them from a brief name.

Do curries come with rice or naan?

The reviewed matching menu explicitly lists basmati rice with curries, and naan separately. Confirm today’s inclusions for your chosen regular or tasting offer; do not transfer that rule to every grill dish.

Is this the complete current menu?

No. These are selected examples from the September 10 capture, reviewed October 1 against the matching official regular menu. Other venues and tasting offers can differ. Confirm availability, ingredients and dietary needs with the restaurant.
