Three noodle combinations to compare

These are ingredient-based starting points, not ranked favorites.

Baby spinach and poached egg

Garlic Chicken Ramen

Choose this direction if chicken, spinach and egg are what you want. The short ingredient line does not specify the whole broth recipe.

Pork belly, egg and bamboo

Smoked Pork Ramen

This combination prioritizes pork belly and bamboo alongside a poached egg. Compare those accompaniments with the chicken option rather than treating both ramens as interchangeable.

Cold noodles with pork sausage and cashews

Chilled Spicy Noodle

Choose by both temperature and ingredients: the dish is chilled, but still contains pork sausage, Thai basil and cashews. Chilled does not mean mild or meat-free.

Choose noodles and buns separately

Their fillings and accompaniments do not follow the same pattern.

  1. 01

    Consider the ginger-scallion alternative

Ginger Scallion Noodles lists pickled shiitake, cucumber and wakame. It offers a different ingredient direction from sausage and cashews; confirm requirements rather than assuming a complete recipe.

  2. 02

    Pick the bun filling

The steamed buns list pork belly, shiitake mushroom or shrimp patty, with two per order. Choose the filling separately from the noodles; a shrimp patty is not the same as the mushroom option.

  3. 03

    Read beyond vegetable-sounding names

Habanero Rice Cakes lists heritage bacon and Grana Padano. If pork or dairy changes your choice, that ingredient line matters as much as rice cakes in the title.

Before ordering

Are the chilled noodles vegetarian?

The listed Chilled Spicy Noodle includes pork sausage. Do not infer vegetarian suitability from a cold-noodle name.

Are these the same as Momofuku’s retail noodles?

No. This guide follows a captured restaurant menu; it does not apply grocery noodle recipes or product claims to the restaurant dishes.

Does the capture guarantee today’s whole menu?

No. The current official menu includes additions and may change. Use the dated capture for comparisons and confirm availability.
