The saved live menu supports English and Chinese. Open it or visit SeEat for the app download.

Three starting points

Saved examples rather than a popularity ranking.

Marinade versus dipping sauce

Compare two pork-belly entries

The saved Yang Nyum entry describes marinated pork belly and vegetables. Saeng describes pork belly for grilling with dipping sauce. Choose between these descriptions and confirm seasoning; Saeng is not an instruction to eat pork raw.

Different cold-noodle formats

Cold broth or mixed cold noodles

Mul describes chilled buckwheat noodles in broth with beef and vegetables. Bibim describes noodles with spicy beef-based sauce and vegetables. Decide whether you want broth or mixed noodles.

Two soup directions

Clear short-rib soup or spicy shredded beef

Kal Bi Tang lists short ribs in clear beef broth. Yook Ge Jang lists shredded beef and vegetables in spicy soup. Compare broth and beef preparation together.

Read the ingredients beyond the title

A noodle or tofu name does not establish the full recipe.

Seafood noodles also differ in broth

U-Dong lists mild broth, thick wheat noodles, shrimp, squid and fish cakes. Cham Pong lists spicy soup with seafood and vegetables; choose the named broth, not just seafood.

  2. 02

Chap Chae contains pork in this version

The saved glass-noodle dish lists shredded pork and vegetables. Likewise, Kimchi Jige lists pork; do not assume a vegetable-sounding name is meat-free.

  3. 03

    Confirm grill and shared-pot details

The saved seafood casserole lists several seafoods, tofu and noodles, with table cooking. Confirm preparation and serving arrangement before using a shared pot as one person’s main.
