Three contrasting starters

Ingredient comparisons from the official menu, not a tasting ranking.

Cheese inside shredded pastry

Golden Halloumi Kadayif

Official ingredients include halloumi, fresh za’atar leaf and hot honey. Compare this cheese filling with the chicken liver cigar.

A grilled offal choice

Charcoal-Grilled Veal Sweetbread

The list pairs veal sweetbread with grape glaze, gremolata and challah toast. Sweetbread here is an organ cut, not sweet bread.

Vegetables with tahini

Charcoal-Grilled Ratatouille

The official accompaniment is spiced tomato purée and tahini. Ask about the full preparation if avoiding particular ingredients.

Choose by preparation and sauce

Build a shortlist before opening the saved menu.

  1. 01

Separate raw fish from cooked starters

Hamachi and The Big Bluefin Slice sit in the official Raw section. The latter lists garum, red onion and urfa chili. These are different preparations from the grilled sweetbread and octopus.

  2. 02

    Read the pastry filling

Golden Halloumi Kadayif pairs cheese with shredded pastry and hot honey; Chicken Liver Cigar is a liver-filled pastry with amba and parsley yogurts plus harissa. A crisp exterior does not make their fillings interchangeable.

  3. 03

    Recheck changing accompaniments

The saved octopus has potato salad and beet horseradish; the reviewed list has parsnip cream and celeriac. Choose the preparation direction here, then confirm today’s sides.
