SeEat restaurant guide
Pinch Chinese menu: start with the filling, then choose the sauce
Soup dumplings are one direction; cod-and-napa dumplings and curry beef pan-fried dumplings offer different fillings. Then compare the ribeye’s two sauces, or choose a noodle dish by its protein and format.

Three choices hidden in the dumpling and sauce names
Compare fillings and condiments before choosing your main dish.
Pork, cod or curry beef
Soup dumplings or a different filling
Pork Soup Dumplings name the soup-dumpling format. Fish Dumplings list Atlantic cod and napa cabbage; Beef Pan Fried Dumplings list beef and curry. Choose whether you want soup inside the dumpling, a fish-and-cabbage filling, or the explicitly pan-fried beef option. Do not assume every dumpling is a soup dumpling.
Egg and glass noodles, or shiitake and truffle
Read the vegetable filling
Vegetable Dumplings list bok choy, egg and glass noodles. Mushroom Dumplings instead name shiitake and truffle. Egg is part of the vegetable option, so the title alone does not establish a vegan dish. Compare the named filling and ask about wrappers and sauces if ingredients matter to you.
Sichuan doubanjiang or Cantonese black pepper
Choose the ribeye sauce
The menu offers two sauce directions for the same ribeye: spicy Sichuan doubanjiang or Cantonese black pepper. Decide on the condiment before changing the protein. Black pepper is a separate seasoning choice, not a verified promise of no heat; ask about the preparation you will receive.
Build the rest of your Pinch Chinese order
Noodle formats, side ingredients and brunch additions change the choice.
01
Choose a noodle format
Dan Dan Noodle lists pork and crushed peanuts, while Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup names beef shank and bone broth. Shrimp Cold Noodle names shrimp, peas and corn. Compare pork-and-peanut noodles, beef soup or the cold shrimp format; the official menu limits ordinary Dan Dan to dinner.
02
Read beyond the vegetable heading
Sichuan String Beans list pork and dried shrimp; Summer Cabbage lists bacon and fresh chilli. Pea Shoots name garlic, and Eggplant names long pepper and garlic sauce. If avoiding meat or shellfish, ask about the complete preparation instead of treating the whole section as vegetarian.
03
Separate brunch and large specialties
Breakfast Dan Dan uses bacon and a poached egg, not the ordinary pork-and-peanut description. Turnip Cake lists dried shrimp and lap cheong; Shrimp Cakes list cod and almonds. Those are brunch additions. Peking Duck and Wind Sand Chicken are separate specialties requiring advance planning; confirm preparation and reservation arrangements directly.
Before choosing at Pinch Chinese
Which Pinch Chinese dumplings should I compare first?
Compare the pork/chicken soup-dumpling formats with cod-and-napa Fish Dumplings, egg-containing Vegetable Dumplings and curry-seasoned Beef Pan Fried Dumplings. These are ingredient comparisons, not a bestseller or tasting ranking.
Are the vegetable sides meat-free?
Not the whole section: string beans name pork and dried shrimp, and cabbage names bacon. Garlic pea shoots and eggplant are different candidates, but ask about complete ingredients, modifications and cross-contact.
Is Breakfast Dan Dan the same dish as Dan Dan Noodle?
No. The ordinary menu names pork and peanuts; the brunch addition names bacon and a poached egg. Brunch additions and dinner-only dishes have separate availability.
Can I order duck or chicken immediately from this guide?
The official page gives preparation notices for Peking Duck and Wind Sand Chicken, plus a separate duck reservation policy. Confirm arrangements with the restaurant; this page does not reserve a dish or guarantee immediate availability.
