Roma Cucina Italiana menu: compare sauces before pasta shapes

Choose between egg-and-Pecorino carbonara, cream-based Alfredo, filled ravioli and seafood linguine. Calamari appears in two different formats.

The saved live menu is in English.

Three pasta directions

Compare named sauces and fillings, without tasted favorites.

Egg and Pecorino, not Alfredo

Lazio Carbonara

The official entry lists bucatini, guanciale, egg, Pecorino Romano and black pepper. Compare this with Pazzo Alfredo’s heavy cream and Parmesan; the sauces and pork ingredients differ.

Filling as well as sauce

Truffle Porcini Ravioli

Porcini and Asiago are named in the filling, with porcini cream sauce, arugula, truffle oil and Parmesan outside. Gnocchi instead lists a creamy pesto sauce; the mushroom choice is not just a sauce swap.

Mixed seafood or clams only

Linguine Ai Frutti Di Mare

The mixed linguine lists prawns, clams, salmon and calamari, plus a sauce choice. Vongole focuses on clams. Decide on seafood variety before choosing the sauce.

Make three decisions before adding extras

Choose the sauce, check what is already included, then consider an accompaniment.

  1. 01

Choose the sauce before adding protein

Pazzo Alfredo already names chicken, sausage and soppressata. Truffle Porcini Ravioli has optional chicken or sausage in the saved menu; select the base first instead of treating every pasta as unadorned noodles.

  2. 02

    Use the seafood sauce choice

Linguine Ai Frutti Di Mare offers light marinara or garlic white wine sauce. Tell staff which direction you want; Linguine Vongole instead lists clams in garlic white wine sauce.

  3. 03

    Compare the separate entrées too

Pollo Parmigiana comes with garlic-and-oil linguine; Pollo Marsala lists vegetables and mashed potatoes. Decide whether another pasta or potato side would repeat the accompaniment.

Questions about Roma’s menu

Are Calamari Fritti and Calamari Doré the same dish?

No. Fritti is the fried-squid starter with vegetables and two aiolis. Doré is a calamari-steak entrée with citrus white wine sauce, potatoes and arugula.
