Royal Sushi & Izakaya menu: three cooked izakaya choices

Chicken wings with koji and lemon, pork-and-vegetable dumplings with soy vinegar and mustard, or salt-grilled mackerel with ginger and daikon: these cooked dishes offer three different starting points before considering sushi.

Only wings, pork gyoza and salt-grilled mackerel are compared here. The wider saved Gomaae Spanish description adds nuts; Ebi Shumai omits the reviewed source’s pork note and carries a pescatarian label. Those entries are excluded here but remain in the saved menu. English, Chinese and Spanish descriptions are available.

Wings, dumplings or salt-grilled fish?

Compare chicken with lemon, pork filling with mustard, and mackerel with ginger and daikon.

Fried wings, koji and lemon

Karaage chicken wings

The saved entry describes crispy soy-marinated chicken wings with koji and lemon. The restaurant places the wings in its fried section and names the same marinade and accompaniments. Choose the chicken-wing format without assuming a boneless portion or exact crispness.

Dumplings with soy vinegar and spicy mustard

Pork-and-vegetable gyoza

Both lists name pork-and-vegetable dumplings with soy vinegar and spicy mustard. The restaurant places them in the grilled/pan-seared section; the saved description specifies pan-seared. Compare filled dumplings with wings, rather than treating gyoza as shrimp-only dumplings.

Ginger and daikon with fish

Salt-grilled mackerel

The restaurant and saved entry identify salt-grilled Norwegian mackerel with grated ginger and daikon. This is a cooked fish choice, different from the raw-fish and rice bowls elsewhere in the menu. Confirm the actual serving rather than inferring a whole fish.

Build around the main ingredient

Choose the cooked dish first, then consider sushi or a rice bowl separately.

  1. 01

    Start with the main ingredient

Choose chicken wings, pork-and-vegetable filling or mackerel. Gyoza are not the Ebi Shumai entry, and fish does not replace pork in that filling.

  2. 02

    Keep the condiments separate

Lemon goes with the wings; soy vinegar and mustard with gyoza; ginger and daikon with mackerel. The lists do not promise that every condiment comes with every dish.

  3. 03

Then consider the rest of the table

Use these cooked choices as starting points before looking at sushi or rice bowls. The separate omakase offering is outside this saved izakaya comparison.

Before choosing

Does this describe the omakase menu?

No. The restaurant links its izakaya dine-in menu separately from omakase. This guide compares three cooked izakaya entries only.

Why exclude Spinach Gomaae and Ebi Shumai?

Spanish saved Gomaae adds nuts to the black-sesame sauce. The reviewed Shumai source explicitly says contains pork, while saved descriptions omit that note and show a pescatarian label. Neither is recommended here.

Do these examples establish dietary suitability?

No. Confirm the actual ingredients and preparation, including sauces. The full saved destination retains the noted errors.
