The Slanted Door menu: what to order

Start with lime-dressed beef, ginger and chili caramel chicken, or yuba with glass noodles. The Slanted Door’s dinner choices differ in seasoning and format; a familiar protein name is only the beginning.

Three different dinner directions

Choose by sauce, protein and noodle format; these are comparisons, not ranked favorites.

Beef with a lime direction

Shaking Beef

The wok entry pairs filet cubes with watercress and red onion, with lime sauce rather than the chicken claypot’s chili caramel. Compare that sauce direction first. Jasmine and brown rice are listed separately; confirm your accompaniment instead of assuming it comes with the beef.

Ginger, chili and caramel

Organic Chicken Claypot

This claypot entry names boneless thigh, shallots, ginger and Thai chili with chili caramel. Compare it with Shaking Beef if you want that ginger-and-chili combination rather than lime. Caramel in the name does not establish a mild heat level.

Soy yuba together with glass noodles

Yuba Noodle

This is not simply a tofu topping on the crab noodles: its entry combines soy yuba and cellophane noodles with mushrooms and Fresno chili. The separate Cellophane Noodles dish names crab. Choose the recipe you mean, and confirm the full preparation if ingredients matter.

Read the sauces and sides before deciding

Small ingredients can change which combination you would order.

  1. 01

Choose the roll you actually mean

Slanted Door Spring Rolls list shrimp, pork, mint and peanut sauce. Crispy Imperial Rolls are a separate entry with vermicelli and peanuts. The source explicitly calls the imperial rolls crispy; do not assume the spring rolls have the same preparation. Vegetarian versions are also separate recipes.

  2. 02

    Choose your accompaniment deliberately

Jasmine and brown rice are separate menu entries. Corn includes Chinese bacon, while pea tendrils include fish sauce. A vegetable-led name does not settle the whole recipe; read the dressing and other ingredients before adding a side.

  3. 03

    Compare the dessert direction

Peanut Butter Pie combines peanut butter and chocolate components. Panna Cotta lists coconut and pineapple, with a macadamia tuile. Cotton Cheesecake takes a black-sesame direction with cherries. These are distinct flavor choices, not a promised assortment in the celebratory platter.

Questions before ordering The Slanted Door

What should I compare with Shaking Beef?

Compare the lime direction with Organic Chicken Claypot’s ginger, chili and caramel. For noodles, compare the crab-led Cellophane Noodles with Yuba Noodle’s soy-and-mushroom combination. These are preference comparisons, not tasting-based rankings.

Are the vegetable sides automatically meatless?

No. The matching source lists Chinese bacon in corn and fish sauce in pea tendrils. Read the complete preparation and ask staff about changes; this guide cannot certify dietary suitability.

Is this every Slanted Door menu?

No. It follows the dinner and dessert sample menus associated with the precise production capture. Lunch, brunch and menus at other venues may differ. Availability can change after the dates shown.
