Sylvain menu: choose the main, then the contrast

A burger with fries, a slow-cooked short rib and a fish plate make different starting points. Compare their accompaniments before choosing a starter, rather than treating the entrée list as interchangeable.

Three ways to start an order

Choose by ingredients and format, not an invented best-dish list.

Beef, cheddar and fries

Sylvain Burger

The burger lists Black Angus beef, extra-sharp cheddar, dill pickles and fries. Bacon and a fried egg appear separately as additions in the source; do not assume those extras are included.

Root vegetables and horseradish

Slow Cooked Short Rib

The short rib comes with pearl onions, root vegetables, sherry-mustard vinaigrette and beet-horseradish purée. Choose it for that combination instead of expecting the burger’s fries.

Corn, remoulade and fish roe

Blackened Redfish

The fish lists maque choux, white remoulade and trout roe. The saved description explains the corn-and-vegetable accompaniment; the roe remains a separate listed component, not a decorative detail to overlook.

Build a meal with deliberate contrasts

A planning approach without fixed portion assumptions.

  1. 01

    Choose one main direction

Compare burger-and-fries with the short rib’s root vegetables or the fish’s corn accompaniment. Decide which combination you want before adding more food.

  2. 02

Choose a starter that adds something different

Crispy Zucchini brings fried zucchini and Tabasco-mash aioli; cornbread brings spicy cane-syrup butter. Shrimp Remoulade combines shrimp with fried green tomatoes and green-tomato chow chow.

  3. 03

Check optional ingredients and named allergens

Green Cabbage Salad lists peanuts, while the chocolate tart lists hazelnut and Nutella. Ask about recipes and cross-contact when relevant; a short menu description is not allergy certification.
