SeEat restaurant guide

The Walrus and the Carpenter menu: choose raw or cooked, then the accompaniment

The restaurant says its menu changes daily. This guide uses the September 10, 2026 capture and checks the September 30 primary menu, separating saved examples from a promise of today’s oyster selection.

Three seafood format comparisons

Read the accompaniments with the cooking format.

Tomato and peppercorn, or green sauce and lime

Two crudo combinations

Albacore lists sungold tomato, chive and green peppercorn. Halibut lists mojo verde, nigella seed, serrano and lime. Both are crudo choices, with different named accompaniments.

Cilantro aioli, or walnut-parsley-shallot

Two cooked seafood directions

The oysters are listed fried with cilantro aioli; sardines are grilled with walnuts, parsley and shallot. Compare cooking format and the nut accompaniment together.

Lemon butter and chive, or corn bisque and lime leaf

A roll or a bowl with bread

The crab roll lists lemon butter and chive; clams list corn bisque, lime leaf and grilled bread. The bread format and listed accompaniments differ, without a portion recommendation.

Before choosing from the saved list

Check current selection and overlooked ingredients.

  1. 01

Ask for the current oyster selection

The reviewed September 30 list differs from the saved selection. Oyster names are examples, not a current order list or a salinity ranking.

  2. 02

    Read the vegetable accompaniments

Saved zucchini Caesar lists parmesan and garlic breadcrumb. Saved grilled summer beans list almonds and mushroom butter, but that item is absent from the reviewed later menu.

  3. 03

    Keep raw-beef ingredients visible

Steak Tartare lists egg yolk and rye crisps. It is separate from the cooked fish examples.

Menu questions

Are the oysters only served raw?

The saved and reviewed menus list walnuts with parsley and shallot.
